Questions to explore with Learning Express Library
1) I need a resume. What course in the Learning ExpressLibrary will allow me to write a custom built resume that can be downloaded and printed?
- Log in and click on "Job Search and Workplace skills" tab. Then click on "Job Search, Resumes and Interviewing" link. The top choice "Creating a great resume" is probably the most comprehensive. Based on your background this course gives you suggestions on how to do the best resume. About half way through it allows you to create an actual resume. At the end you can format it and download it and print it.
2) I am going to take the FCAT 8th Grade Reading test this year. Where can I find the online tutorials for that?
- Click on the “Middle School” tab at the top of the screen. Click on Math or reading comprehension depending on which one you are interested in. Click on FCAT grade 8 Mathematics Practice Test. Click on “Add to my Center” and then “Start this test now.” Excellent resource for students to practice for the FCAT.
3) I am an adult and I would like to refresh my math and writing skills overall. It is not for any specific test. Is there a place for me to practice things like fractions, decimals and grammar? Where is it?
- Click on skill building for adults Tab at the top of the screen. Click on “Math and reasoning skills improvement.” Choose from eight different Math tests that will help you practice your skills; answer questions about decimals, percentages and more!! Click on writing and grammar skills improvement to brush up on your grammar skills.
